Kuta, Legian and Tuban are the arrival end of Bali: most guests here land at Ngurah Rai, check in within a quarter of an hour and want to be on the water the next day. Serangan harbour, where all four of our yachts moor, is 25–35 minutes east along the Ngurah Rai bypass (approx., traffic dependent) and roughly half an hour from the airport itself — close enough that a sunset cruise on the day you land is a realistic plan, not a gamble.
What Kuta Guests Book, and What It Costs
Kuta bookings are short and spontaneous. The 4-hour sunset cruise on the Accura 39 — 12 m, up to 8 guests, $750 for the whole boat — is the standard first charter: a swim and snorkel stop while the light is still warm, then the anchor down facing the sun. Couples and groups of friends on a budget rarely need more boat than that. Families staying a week usually add the 8-hour Nusa Penida day from $950 on the same yacht, or $1,850 on the 13.5 m Accura 48 when there are more than eight of you.

Getting from Kuta to the Dock
The yachts board at the floating dock — Dermaga apung — at Serangan, Denpasar 80229. From Kuta, Legian or Tuban the drive follows the Ngurah Rai bypass past Benoa: 25–35 minutes when the road is moving, longer once Sunset Road and the Dewa Ruci junction back up from late morning. For the sunset slot a 13:30 departure is comfortable and a 14:00 one is tight.
Three ways to make the trip: a Gojek or Grab car (the cheapest), your own hire car or scooter, or our private transfer from $50 — a standard car, a bus for a larger group or a premium Alphard, priced for Kuta and the number of seats you need. The transfer is never folded into the charter price, so the rate you see on the boat is the rate you pay for the boat.
Landing in the Morning, Afloat by Sunset
This is the Kuta question we hear most, and the answer is usually yes. Serangan is about 30 minutes from the airport, so a landing before noon leaves time to drop bags at the hotel and still board at 14:30. Message us your landing time on WhatsApp: if it fits we hold the afternoon slot, if it doesn't we will say so and suggest the next evening rather than have you race across town after a long flight.
The reverse works too. On your last full day an 8-hour Nusa Penida charter has you back at Serangan around 16:30 — Manta Point, Crystal Bay and the Kelingking cliffs seen from the water, then an easy run back to a Kuta hotel for a final dinner.
