How much does it cost to charter a yacht in Bali?
A shared sunset cruise starts around IDR 600,000 per person, a private speedboat day from roughly IDR 5 million, a crewed catamaran or motor yacht for a full day from IDR 15–35 million depending on size, and large luxury yachts more. Where do the charters depart from?
Most charters leave from Benoa Harbour, Sanur or Serangan, with speedboat transfers also running from Sanur and Padangbai to Nusa Penida and the Gilis. We arrange hotel pick-up from Seminyak, Canggu, Nusa Dua and across south Bali so you only meet us at the dock.
Is the crew and skipper included?
Yes. Every private charter is fully crewed with a licensed skipper and deckhand, and larger yachts add a host or chef. You never operate the boat yourself — you relax while the crew handles navigation, anchoring and service.
What is included in a private day charter?
A typical day charter includes the crewed boat, fuel, snorkelling gear, paddleboards or a kayak, drinking water and soft drinks, and fruit. Lunch, premium drinks and water-toys can be added. We confirm exactly what is included in writing before you pay a deposit.
Can you cater for events and celebrations on board?
Yes — birthdays, proposals, anniversaries and small corporate groups. We dress the deck, arrange catering, a sound system, photographer and decorations, and tailor the route to a sunset backdrop. Tell us the occasion and group size and we build a package around it.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If the skipper judges conditions unsafe, we reschedule to the next suitable day or refund the charter in full. Bali's seas are calmest in the morning, so we often move departures earlier rather than cancel.
How many people can join a charter?
Speedboats carry up to about 12 guests, sailing catamarans 15–25, and larger motor yachts 20–40 for cruising. Overnight charters sleep fewer than the day capacity. Tell us your group size and we match you to the right boat.
