Nusa Dua is the gated resort strip on the sheltered east side of the Bukit — large hotel grounds, a calm lagoon and the Bali Mandara toll road at its gate. That road is why Serangan harbour is only 25–35 minutes away (approx., traffic dependent): it runs straight across Benoa Bay and ends a short drive from the dock where our four yachts moor, so resort guests spend less time in a car than almost anyone except Sanur.
What Nusa Dua Guests Book, and What It Costs
Resort guests here are mostly families and groups who have already paid for comfort, and the bookings follow. The 13.5 m Accura 48 takes one or two families to Nusa Penida for the day ($1,850, up to 12 guests). The 17 m flagship Accura 55 hosts a sunset with everyone on board — $1,700 for 4 hours, up to 17 — and carries the celebrations: a birthday, an anniversary dinner at anchor, a proposal timed to the light, dressed with the $200 decoration package. The Accura 39 at $750 still gets booked by couples who simply want the sea to themselves for an afternoon.

Getting from Nusa Dua to the Dock
Leave through the Nusa Dua gate and take the Bali Mandara toll across the bay; it ends close to Benoa, a few minutes from the Serangan floating dock (Dermaga apung, Denpasar 80229). Allow 25–35 minutes door to deck in normal traffic. The toll avoids the Jimbaran and Kuta roads altogether, which is why early Nusa Penida departures are painless from here.

Celebrations on Board
Most Nusa Dua events run as the late-afternoon 4-hour slot on the flagship: board at 14:30, a swim stop while the sun is still high, the deck already decorated ($200), a DJ with full sound rig if you want music ($400), a drone overhead for the toast ($350), and the anchor down for the sunset before stepping off around 18:30. Convention-hotel groups take the same format as a team day — up to 17 on the Accura 55, or two yachts side by side for larger companies. Children's birthdays run the other way round: a calm morning cruise with snorkel stops in quiet bays, cake at anchor.
